A Christian Way of Yoga


In our culture, a great deal of attention is paid to the human body, yet both in and out of the Church, we tend to think of our bodies in terms of physical fitness and beauty, rather than the role they play in our relation to God. Through a gentle hatha yoga workout, coupled with meditative Christian chants and prayer, CPC’s yoga class invites participants to explore the role of the body in Christian spiritual formation.

The class meets each Monday, 5:30 to 7:00 p.m., in the Fellowship Hall, and is for anyone of middle school age and older. No yoga experience is necessary . . . beginners are welcome! Feel free to invite others who may be interested, even if they are not otherwise participating at CPC.


Please wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothes, and bring a yoga/exercise mat if you have one (extra mats are available if you need to borrow one). Questions? Please speak to Don Makin (382-2802).
